Human Resources Coordinator


We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

New Employee Activities

  • Complete pre-employment background and reference check process
  • Ensure all required new employee paperwork is completed on time
  • Familiarize new employees with the office layout

Talent Acquisition

  • Screen applicants and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate interview processes
  • Coordinate recruiting events (e.g. schedule and conduct office visits/tours)
  • Represent the firm at college recruiting events (e.g. career fairs and on-campus interviews) to build relationships and create applicant pools
  • Explain hiring process requirements to candidates and ensures requirements are met
  • Coordinate submission of background checking and reference checking materials
  • Manage the utilization of the Predictive Index to ensure the candidate’s fit for the position
  • Work with L&D Specialist to coordinate new hire processes
  • Coordinate ongoing communications with potential candidates

Performance Management

  • Administer the annual performance evaluation process

Wellness Program Management

  • Coordinate, plan, and facilitate wellness initiatives and challenges for employees

General Duties

  • Coordinate various employee activities during tax season
  • Keep up-to-date on federal, state and local legislation
  • Perform other projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and MS Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task with strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive situations and manage interruptions while also addressing special circumstances
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential staff information
  • Ability to attend to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials
  • Ability to communicate professionally and in an open manner with internal and external clients

Education and Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferred
  • At least 1 year full-time (or equivalent) experience in the field of Human Resources
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
