BeachFleischman PLLC is the largest locally owned accounting, business advisory and financial services firm in southern Arizona. Our team strives to enhance companies’ and individual clients’ financial health by adding value through long-term client relationships and individualized service. We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Help Desk Technician to join our firm in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time position encompassing all front end help desk responsibilities such as supporting workstations, applications, and telephones for the user community. This position will report directly to the Director of Business Technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests in an efficient and professional manner
- Acquire knowledge of firm technology and how it is used
- Understand technical requirements specific to the accounting industry
- Assist, train, and teach employees on basic workstation, application, and telephone use
- Deploy and setup workstations, software, and peripherals
- Build and load software on computers as needed by users
- Document and share solutions with team members and user community
- Provide remote support to Phoenix office, field users, and home office users
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Associates Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- A+, Network+, MCSA Windows 7, and other related certifications preferred
- Proficient in Windows 10 Office Suite
- Basic network fundamentals
- Proficient with malware/antivirus removal
- Proficient with image deployment
- Experienced in VoIP phone/softphone support
- Exposure to CCH Prosystem fx Suite and Caseware preferred
- Demonstrates professional level verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates strong ability to constantly multi-task
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs
- May be required to crawl, kneel and stretch to install computers
- Some overtime required
