TUCSON (Aug 5, 2013) – Karen Mattull, SPHR, the director of human resources of BeachFleischman PC, has been selected as one of Tucson’s ‘40 Under 40’ winners. The award, co-hosted by the Arizona Daily Star and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, recognizes young leaders in Tucson who have made an impact in the community. Karen was selected for her professional career as well as her involvement in the community. She is a graduate of the 2013 class of the Greater Tucson Leadership program, which promotes community and civic leadership. She has devoted much of her time and energy to supporting healthy lifestyles and cancer research. Karen previously served on the Reading Seed Board and has provided HR consulting services to other literacy groups in Tucson. She regularly volunteers at the University of Arizona and New Mexico State University to help students with their resumes and interview skills.

Karen is responsible for managing BeachFleischman’s internal training and development program, benefits, recruiting, performance management, wellness program, and co-manages the firm’s external Human Resources Consulting Services. Karen has fourteen years of experience and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Arizona.
