Don Bays is a Senior Director for the Financial Forensics & Valuation Services Group at BeachFleischman. Don has over 35 years of experience in private and public accounting, with an extensive background in audit, forensic accounting, valuation, and expert witness services. His industry expertise includes marital dissolution, business valuation consulting, and litigation support services, including quantification of economic damages.

Don has written numerous articles regarding litigation and business valuation topics for the Journal of Accountancy, CPA Journal, Arizona Attorney Magazine, and the Arizona Society of CPAs. He has testified as an expert witness on over 150 occasions for civil litigation cases, including valuation issues, insurance fraud, contract disputes, lost earnings, and property settlement matters in marital dissolutions. Before his accounting career, Don served six years in law enforcement as a police officer and detective.

Additionally, Don is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation, Certified in Financial Forensics, and a Certified Valuation Analyst.
